I’ve just noticed that I’ve never posted any Inaisce here.

In the beginning, The Reliquatory was more heavily rooted in Dolly Kei, so maybe it didn’t feel quite right at the time. But now, never having shared it feels like a gross misdemeanor.

This is one of my favorite collections of all time.

The knee straps look unpractical but other than that I love everything about this. I like it when a designer creates shapes that ring a bell in your mind, but you’re not sure what it reminds you of. Japanese leg silhouette? Fairy tale gown? Uniform jacket? Then mix and match, awesome.

A 72-year-old grandfather, Liu Xianping, has become something of an internet sensation after he began modelling for his granddaughter’s online clothing store.

Liu’s granddaughter runs Yuekou, a partnership between herself and four other recent college graduates. While Liu was helping the girls unpack, “he picked up one piece and tried to give some advice on how to mix and match. We thought it was fun so we started shooting.”
